Us UK canna-heads, both those looking for recreational and medical cannabis strains, are pretty used to our favourite strains coming directly from the North American, Spanish and Dutch breeding labs. Up until recently, very few strains created in the UK made it to the consumer market, thanks to the strict laws and regulations surrounding weed here in Great Britain.

But Rubikz? Good lawd, that's a UK hybrid weed strain banger through and through!

Sour Genetics are a secretive bunch, and fair enough - although medical weed strains can be legally prescribed here in the UK, the recreational laws are still extremely strict, so breeders need to be careful.

What we do know is that Rubikz is as beloved in the USA as it is here in the UK, and that it's a cross between Zcube #8 x Zcube BX2, two more UK-bred hybrids. It's beautiful balanced 50/50 hybrid strain with an average THC content of around 20%, to 23% and a terpene profile that everybody loves.

What else sets Rubikz apart from the crowded new-era cannabis strain market?

• The Effects - Although 20% to 23% THC isn't going to set any records, it's by no means a slouch. Many report having to put a joint of Rubikz down after just a couple of hits. The euphoria levels are simply off the charts with the Rubikz weed strain, but get the snacks on standby before you roll it upo, as the munchies follow and follow hard.
• The Flavour - Rubikz has a distinctly fruity and sweet flavour, with strong notes of citrus, berries, and hints of earthiness that round everything out gorgeously. If cured for a month or so, the smooth becomes this yoghurt-like creaminess that is hard to beat.
• The Rarity - Finding Rubikz buds, seeds and clones is tough, but they are out there if you look hard enough. If you are lucky enough to stumble across a bag full of Rubikz buds, all we can say is treat yourself.
• The Bag Appeal - The Rubikz weed strain buds are about as pretty as they come. The dark green backing is polka-dotted with vibrant orange pistils and some purple speckles, then covered in a thick fur like coat of trichomes - head turners through and through.
